The ongoing development works at Sokhna Port include the construction of 4 new docks and 18 kilometers of marine quays with a depth of 18 meters, the creation of storage yards covering an area of 9.6 million square meters, and commercial and logistical areas covering 5.3 km² served by a network of rail lines stretching 33 km connected to the fast electric train.
This expansion will significantly increase the port’s capacity and strengthen Egypt’s position as a global logistics hub.
